My path into this work started with my own less-than-amazing postpartum experience after my first daughter was born, and it sent me straight into doula training. Being on-call for births didn't fit a growing family, so I focused my training on hands-on newborn care instead and built my practice around supporting families in those first tender weeks.

Today, Lotus is a growing agency of newborn care specialists and postpartum doulas supporting families through the fourth trimester across London, Ontario. I personally interview, vet, and train every professional who joins our team. Background checks, hands-on certification, and a genuine feel for the work are non-negotiable, because you're trusting us with your home and your newborn. Between us, we've lived a wide range of the postpartum experience ourselves: extended breastfeeding, pumping, tube feeding, and formula feeding, plus years of babywearing and cloth diapering. Whatever question you're sitting with, we've probably been there.

Off the clock, I'm a coffee-loving, down-to-earth introvert, a small-town girl who ended up in the city, still trying to stay hydrated. We keep things non-judgmental and inclusive for every family, and we're an open book. Ask us anything.
